You’ll have to ask Genn; my script left it all up to her. If I had to guess, I’d say it’s a power-pose rather than a concealing one.
As a general thing I’m not aiming at overly explicit imagery, partly as a legacy detail of the preferences of the artist I started with, and perhaps as a casual constraint to stay focused on the politics. That didn’t come up as an issue with this page though.
